Love On The Fly by Kerry Evelyn is a delightful contemporary Christian romance and the fourth book in the Crane’s Cove series. It can be read as a stand-alone.

I am loving this series. The characters are wonderfully drawn, warm and welcoming. It is good to be able to follow the characters through and witness their growth and development.

It is important to have the correct work-life balance. We witness that health suffers if workaholics do not make time to switch off.

We are not destined to become our parents. We may inherit some of their traits but we can always learn from their mistakes.

A character who has been hurt in the past is still carrying anger. The past needs to be resolved and the anger released.

We all have gifts. We need to use our gifts to benefit others.

There are some huge hearts within the novel who seek to help those less fortunate.

Within the tale we see rescues and renovations. This reminds the reader that God seeks to rescue the lost, renovating and restoring lives.

There are some wonderful verbal volleys between characters that really warm the reader’s heart.

I absolutely love this Crane’s Cove series. The stories are all charming with delightful characters and strong godly messages. The stories are just a perfect read to brighten up a gloomy autumnal day.
