True Treasure And Inheritance
A Love Most Worthy by Sandra Ardoin is a delightful historical Christian romance set in 1900. It was a time of the gold rush.Miners flocked to the areas to get rich quick. Gold blinded them. True treasure is always found in people and not stuff.
The novel is about discovering our worth. Words spoken over us in the past, either by others or even ourselves do not define us. We need to know who we are in God.
There are themes of trust, forgiveness, letting go and new beginnings. Past hurts mean trust is hard to come by. Forgiving ourselves may seem impossible but we cannot be held prisoner by the chains of our past.
We cannot be held responsible for the poor choices of others. We must choose wisely.
Prayer is powerful. Prayer works. We need to pray at all times, keeping communication open with God.
Inheritance is important. We inherit characteristics from God, if we would just draw close to Him.
Two darling young boys will capture the reader’s heart at the same time as capturing hearts in the novel.
I loved A Love Most Worthy. It was touching, amusing and had delightful characters as well as Godly themes.
A perfect evening’s read.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
